 (Taken 9/30/06)
- Formed:
1972
- Bio:
All Japan was formed by Giant Baba in October of 1972. Since then, All Japan has made many stars such as Jumbo Tsuruta, Genichiro Tenryu, Mitsuharu Misawa, Toshiaki Kawada, Kenta Kobashi, Jun Akiyama, and Akira Taue. In 1999, Giant Baba passed away, leaving Mitsuharu Misawa in charge of operations, but in 2000, Misawa was voted out of presidency by the board of directors and Motoko Baba (Baba's wife) assumed presidency. This lead to a mass exodus of All Japan leaving all but two natives (Kawada/Fuchi), and putting All Japan in a tough position. In 2002, New Japan's Keiji Muto, Satoshi Kojima, and Kendo KaShin jumped to All Japan, and an immediate impact was felt with tour shows selling out for just about all of 2002.
The current All Japan is much smaller than what it once was during it's glory days, but they are together to take on the Voodoo Murders. Will they eventually win in what seems to be a neverending struggle?
