After Satoshi Kojima & Taiyo Kea were forced to vacate the AJPW World Tag Team Title in mid-2003 due to a serious injury suffered by Kea, a one night tournament was determined to crown new champions. Four teams entered the event, which took place near the end of "SUPER POWER SERIES 2003", and it would be President Keiji Muto and Arashi who took the gold home.

Semi Final: Keiji Muto & Arashi beat The Gladiator & Gigantes (20:17) when Muto used a Frankensteiner on Gladiator.
