The Destroyer was one of the more charismatic figures of the Showa era. With his patented strut and eccentric ways, he became a superstar in Japan. For a little over two years, he had series of matches against other men who disguised themselves with masks, to see how he compared. And he proved himself as perhaps the greatest masked man of his generation, losing none of the matches.
